Experience was great. Lots of good training with Greg Wanket.

5 20 minutes sessions during the day. Started with 2 sessions of lead/follow. 3rd session, he started to lead and then let me lead. 4th and 5th sessions I lead. Last session I was by myself for most of the runs.

After each session we did a debrief on how I was doing with the instruction/coaching and where improvements could be made.

I tried using RaceChronoPro. Got good data recorded, but failed to get video. Turns out you have to start the video separately.

HOD is very well organized. I missed part of the first meeting because it was _inside_ the garage and I was waiting outside the garage. It wasn’t too much of a problem because Greg had found me and spent 30 mins with me going over what we’d be doing for the day.

HOD doesn’t seem to use the online log book at Motorsport.reg, so we’ll need to figure out how to update my profile with the appropriate info (scan of log book notes?).

  • Buy the tow hook mount for GoPro. That would give a nice consistent view.

Improvements to make. I missed the flag stations completely. That suggests another training day with some more instruction. Probably need to watch some tape and work with a map to get used to seeing the flangers at each station.

Teri B the Operations Manager handled my request to send info to GGR and was very nice about it.
